I have dedicated countless hours of working out and trying to live a healthy lifestyle. While I used to exercise six days a week, I was still not content with my weight or how my body looked. It wasn’t until I finally started paying attention to what I was eating, I recognized that I started looking better and feeling better.
I now live by the 80/20 rule, which means two things to me. First, I eat well 80% of the time and this allows me to indulge once in a while. This has worked in helping me maintain my weight and health goals. Second, in order to see optimal progress with my body and weight management… it is 80% nutrition and 20% fitness. It is amazing what eating quality foods can do for you. I urge everyone to experiment with cutting out certain types of food for a couple weeks. You might be surprised how much better you feel.
